somnus is joshua sierk -- a project started in 2000 on my computer, guitar & keyboard, making sleepy ambient sounds based on drones, inspired by sheila chandra, & the chants of the monks of yore.

these are the original tracks with almost no effects, just the 'bare bones' -- mixed down by joshua sierk
